1 cup raw cashews, soaked for at least one hour in warm water
⅓ cup nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon sea salt
pinch white pepper
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Use for various dishes such as casseroles, macaroni and cheese, with vegetables, add mustard for a mustard sauce, add some turmeric, vinegar, and mustard for a hollandaise sauce, add vegan parmesan cheese for Alfredo sauce, etc.
