3 ripe bananas
1 cup cane sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add the sugar, eggs, and butter and mix well. Add the flour, salt, baking soda, and nuts, and mix just until combined.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs. Let cool about 10 minutes in the pan, then turn out of pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
