Lebanese Slaw

This is a simple and refreshing slaw recipe that includes a mix of fresh herbs. If you have any zaatar seasoning, a teaspoon or so would be perfect here.

1/2 a large green cabbage, shredded
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 green onions, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced 
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
juice from 1 lemon or about 3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sugar
black pepper, to taste

Toss all ingredients together. Taste and add more salt or lemon, as needed. Let sit for 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.
