3 large russet potatoes, peeled, cubed
8 cloves garlic, peeled
1/2 cup warm milk or half and half
3 tablespoons butter
plenty of sea salt to taste
- Place potatoes and garlic in a large saucepan; cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain the potatoes and return to the pot.
- Add the milk, butter, and salt and mash until smooth. Taste and add more salt or butter, if needed.
