1 1/2 cups cottage cheese, drained
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 envelope organic taco seasoning
Place drained cottage cheese in food processor and mix until creamy. Add cream cheese, taco seasoning and process until well blended. Spread mixture onto ten or twelve inch platter, cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least four hours.
Before serving, top cream cheese mixture with the following items in the order listed:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/2 cup sliced kalamata or green olives
1 or 2 minced jalapeño peppers
Drizzle finished dip with taco sauce or hot sauce. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
