Sesame Pea Pods

1 lb pea pods
1 -2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
¼ teaspoon sea salt
pinch black pepper

Steam the pea pods for a minute until tender crisp. Remove from steamer and toss with sesame oil, sesame seeds, salt and pepper in a bowl. Serve immediately.

To toast sesame seeds: heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add sesame seeds and stir or shake the pan constantly until you smell a toasty, nutty smell and the seeds begin to color a little. Remove from pan.
