Easy Roasted Turkey Breast

1 5 lb bone-in turkey breast
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Take the breast out of the refrigerator and leave out for about 30 minutes to let it warm up. Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the breast and rub it all over both sides. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Place the breast skin side up in a roasting pan. Add enough water to come up the side of the pan about 1/2 inch.
  3. Roast until a thermometer registers 165°F in the thickest part of the breast, around 2+ hours. Remove from oven and cover loosely with foil; let sit for 20-30 minutes while you finish making your side dishes.
