New Michigan Beers

What do you think of when you hear “Labor Day”?

Of course, we should remember the historical significance of the holiday, and the struggles that brought it about. But, more broadly, we generally think of it as the last days of summer, time spent with family and friends, the beginning of school, the start of football season, or the annual Labor Day Mackinac bridge walk.

For me, it’s a cold beer, hot grill and (hopefully) a sunny day. Whatever your perspective, if your Labor Day calls for some hard-earned relaxation, we can help. Our coolers are stocked with a wide selection of beer — a combination of year-round favorites, summer seasonals in their waning weeks, and autumn brews just hitting the shelves. The seasonal switch-over means our selection is changing weekly, if not daily. So, whatever your pleasure, you’ll find it here.

Check out some of our newest Michigan-based seasonal arrivals. Cheers!

Founders Mosaic Promise (Grand Rapids) Mosaic Promise showcases two unique ingredients: Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt. Together, they produce a clean, rich, easy-drinking beer.

Right Brain Chubby Squirrel (Traverse City)A spiced ale brewed with vanilla beans, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, and lemon peel. Not too heavy, but plenty of flavor and complexity.

Blake’s Black Phillip Hard Cider (Armada)A cranberry and blood orange infused semi-sweet cider isn’t necessarily what comes to mind when you think fall, but the crisp, fruit flavors work in any season.

Blackrocks Potter’s Porter (Marquette)A robust Porter, full of deep chocolate and dry roast flavors. Perfect for a night by the fire.
