Liver Brownies

The kitchen may be a little stinky while these are baking, but your dog will love them!

3 garlic cloves
1 lb chicken livers (Oryana carries local chicken livers from Nature’s Acres.)
2 eggs
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
2 cups whole wheat flour

  1. Heat oven to 350°F and spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. Toss the garlic cloves into the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add the chicken livers and process until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients, processing in between each addition, until combined and smooth.
  3. Pour into prepared pan and smooth out. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool, and cut into small squares. Keep refrigerated and they will last for a week, but your dog will eat them all before then!
