  in Appetizers, Recipes, Seafood

1 lb raw shrimp, peeled, with tails on
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg + 2 tablespoons milk
1 cup bread crumbs
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
olive oil
cooking spray
cocktail sauce
lemon wedges

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Arrange 3 bowls: one for the flour, one for the egg, and one for the bread crumbs.
  2. Place flour in first bowl. Beat egg in second bowl and mix in water. Add bread crumbs and spices to the third bowl and combine.
  3. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towel and dredge in the flour. Shake off excess flour. Dip shrimp in egg mixture and coat in bread crumbs.
  4. Lightly drizzle some olive oil on a rimmed baking sheet. Place the shrimp on the pan and spray them with cooking spray. Bake for 10-12 minutes, depending on their size, until shrimp are opaque and lightly browned. Serve with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges.
