Come to a FREE community talk hosted by Oryana Community Co-op and the Cowall Family Cancer Center with Carol Bell MS RD, a Registered Dietitian and founder of Nutrition and Body Dynamics.

Learn about the root causes of pain, what foods may be triggering pain, and how tweaking your diet may provide pain relief. Please join us for an informational evening and leave with some valuable information about common food triggers of pain and how nutrient deficiencies can cause pain.

Learn why many conditions can be significantly improved or even eliminated by the food choices you make and how you can create your own individualized plan for using food to manage pain. Healthy snacks and handouts will be available.

Oryana Sponsoring a Movie at the State Theatre

Join Oryana in watching a screening of Seeds: The Untold Story, a film about the importance of seeds and how 94% of our seed varieties have disappeared in the last century. The Untold Story follows passionate seed keepers protecting our 12,000 year-old food legacy. As biotech chemical companies control the majority of our seeds, farmers, scientists, lawyers, and indigenous seed keepers fight a David and Goliath battle to defend the future of our food. Featuring Vandana Shiva, Dr. Jane Goodall, Andrew Kimbrell, Winona Laduke and Raj Patel.

A short panel discussion with local seed keepers will follow the film.

6 pm • Admission $8.50/adults, $7.50/seniors, children & students $6.50
