Hummus

2 garlic cloves, minced
2 15-oz cans garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2/3 cup tahini
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt or to taste


In the bowl of a food processor, add the garlic, garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, 1/2 cup water, and olive oil. Process until smooth. Add salt to taste.

Spoon into a bowl, sprinkle with a little paprika, if desired, and serve with crackers, raw veggies, pita bread, or pita chips. Makes about 3 cups.
