Food as Medicine Presentation at the Library

Are pain and the food you eat related? That will be the topic of discussion at a FREE community talk hosted by Oryana Community Co-op with guest presenter Carol Bell MS RD, a Registered Dietitian and founder of Nutrition and Body Dynamics. Learn about the root causes of pain, what foods may be triggering pain, and how tweaking your diet may provide pain relief. Please join us for an informational evening and leave with some valuable information about common food triggers of pain and how nutrient deficiencies can cause pain. Learn why many conditions can be significantly improved or even eliminated using food as medicine and how you can create your own individualized plan for using food to manage pain. Healthy snacks and handouts will be available. (Note: This program is neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Traverse Area District Library.)

Location: Traverse City District Library, 610 Woodmere Street, Traverse City
Time: 6:30 pm
