Upcoming Events
Itʼs time for us to celebrate our Co-op with Great Food, Music,
and Fun at the
General Membership Meeting in April!
What: This year’s General Membership Meeting
When: Thursday, April 15 (Tax day!) 5:30 – 8:30
Where: Grace Episcopal Church on the corner of Washington and
Boardman in T.C.
Why should you come to the meeting? Because we will hear from
candidates who are seeking positions with the Oryana Board of Directors
and you will get to vote for your favorites. We will also enjoy food prepared
by our fantastic kitchen staff along with the talents of local musicians.
Please consider running for the board this year! The role of director is key
in guiding the growth and direction the co-op is to take in the near and
distant future, and we need the involvement of committed co-op members to
provide the best vision we can. Join the innovative and creative forces that
help guide the co-op toward meeting our ends. If you are interested in
running, we can still post your nomination on the web. Please submit a brief
bio to:
Board President Craig Mulder cmulder57@gmail.com
Board Member Rebecca Teahen rteahen@gtcd.org
This year, the co-op welcomed a new General Manager, Steve Nance. Steve
will address the gathering with a talk on the Global Means of the
organization to educate and inspire members on the motivations behind our
efforts both in-store and within the larger community.
In addition, the meeting will cover the finance and membership reports,
election of officers to the board, along with staff introductions. Join us for
fun, music, and food and celebrate everything it means to be a member at
Oryana!
