Call for Nominations for Directors for Oryana’s Board


From the Oryana Board of Directors President:

This year the Board will have six positions available for the Board of Directors. Five of the positions will be for two-year terms and one will be for a one-year term. I encourage you to consider whether you are a good candidate for Oryana’s Board.

Board members serve as the link between Oryana’s owners and its operations, help set the direction for Oryana by identifying the Ends we ask the General Manager to meet, and monitor the General Manager’s performance in light of the Board’s policies.

To run for election as a Director, you must be an owner of Oryana and you need to submit a brief bio of yourself and the reasons you want to be a director. This information will be published in the March/April newsletter so it needs to be submitted by February 15, 2010. Please contact any Board member or me.

The next board meeting is Thursday, April 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 341 Washington St., Traverse City.
