Autism, Children’s Behavioral Disorders and Digestive Health - Is There a Link?

Certified GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) Practitioner Judi Mills will lead a discussion on GAP syndrome and a treatment program with specifics about the GAPS diet. Judi will explain the role that our digestive system plays in overall health and the GAPS program’s focus on the importance of beneficial microbes for health and well-being.

Grocery Specials This Week
Kale & Peach Salad
Enjoy your local, fresh kale RAW in this easy and refreshing salad.
1 bunch kale (any type), stalks removed, leaves thinly sliced
1 lemon, juiced
5 tablesppons extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt to taste
1 tablespoon honey
Freshly ground black pepper
2 peaches or nectarines, diced small
¼ cup toasted pumpkin seeds
¼ cup raisins or dried cherries
In large serving bowl, add the kale, half the lemon juice, 2 tablespoons olive oil and salt to taste. Massage with your hands until the kale starts to soften and wilt, 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk remaining lemon juice with the honey and freshly ground pepper. Stream in the remaining olive oil while whisking briskly until well blended. Pour the dressing over the kale and add the mango, pumpkin seeds, and raisins and toss to combine.
